Project Overview

The Narcos On Chain project merges fashion with digital collectibles, drawing inspiration from the Narcos universe. It offers a variety of merchandise such as hoodies, t-shirts, and sculptures based on iconic elements from the show. The collection emphasizes unique designs and limited-edition items, appealing to fans of the series and collectors alike.

To give the hit Netflix show NARCOS new life, Otherlife was challenged with developing a digital merchandise and collectibles storefront that would re-engage global fans and introduce them to Web3. The project was developed for Locke Holdings, a NARCOS IP holder.

Challenge

Otherlife crafted an immersive Shopify experience transporting users to Pablo Esocabar’s iconic estate Hacienda Napoles, where they could purchase exclusive NARCOS merchandise paired with digital collectibles via NFC technology. We designed 3D versions of the merchandise collection, and digital twins for each product.  The innovative platform paid tribute to the iconic NARCOS legacy, re-excited fans, and set a new standard for e-commerce.

Solution

The collaboration with Locke Holdings and Gaumont resulted in a unique, immersive shopping experience that revitalized the NARCOS brand and offered fans new ways to experience the show. Otherlife pushed the boundaries of what’s possible with Shopify, and created an easy fan pathway into Web3 by allowing them to effortlessly claim digital twins of their purchases using NFC technology.

Otherlife collaborated closely with Hypernative to integrate a cutting-edge 3D motion design system into their brand. This innovative approach was seamlessly scaled across their new, multi-layered interactive website, enhancing both visual appeal and user experience. 

The rebrand and expanded website gave Hypernative a modern, elevated presence. The 3D motion elements not only elevated the site's aesthetics,  but also reinforced Hypernative's polished and secure brand image. This strategic update successfully conveyed the sense of trust and sophistication that Hypernative desired, strengthening their connection with customers and enhancing their overall brand perception.

This project invites users to create their own custom Sonic Anthem by interacting with an innovative WebGL-powered platform. Through a series of personalized choices, users can select various musical elements, sounds, and moods to compose a unique anthem that resonates with their personal style. The seamless integration of WebGL technology provides a visually engaging and intuitive interface, making the creative process both fun and accessible. By the end of the experience, users walk away with a fully customized soundtrack that captures their individuality, offering a deeply personalized and memorable interaction with the brand.

The Christie's Art+Tech Summit 2024, in collaboration with MoonPay, presents a series of NFTs available to attendees through QR codes displayed during the summit. The NFTs correspond to the event’s four core innovation pillars: AI in Real Life, Thoughtful Luxury, Art and its Market, and New Paradigms in Technology. Attendees who collect all four NFTs will receive an exclusive gift from the artist Niceaunties. This project aims to merge the world of digital art, sustainability, luxury, and advanced technologies, exploring new frontiers in these fields.

Christie’s needed an engaging Web3 experience for the 2024 Art + Tech Summit, allowing attendees to claim NFTs via QR codes.

Otherlife created a seamless web platform where attendees could mint Summit NFTs using QR codes linked to event sections. The platform used HyperMint API for time-restricted minting, with a personalized "My Collection" page for viewing all NFTs, including airdrops from featured artist Niceaunties.


The activation successfully blended art and technology, delivering an interactive NFT experience. Attendees easily collected and viewed NFTs, while the event demonstrated Christie’s leadership in digital innovation.
